Meet the maker

Misty Moon

Misty is an award-winning interior designer, a writer, and a stay-at-home mom since 2018, and a lover of all things handmade. She grew up in her family’s upholstery business and has a background in graphic design.

MoonPieces began in 2012 with jewelry and painting and grew into textiles: sewing, upcycling found materials, kinusaiga (Japanese fabric mosaic art) and free motion embroidery. She is a member of the Art Society of Jackson County.

MoonPieces evolve as her interests do.
